Citec wins order in Norway

citec norwayCitec has won a substantial order from Jacobsen Elektro, one of the oldest electro-technical companies in Norway. Jacobsen Elektro builds, owns, operates and transfers power stations and substations. The company both finances and supplies turnkey transmission, distribution, generating, metering and revenue collection systems to the global power industry.

This joint project is a gas turbine plant in single cycle configuration, 4xLM6000 GE gas turbine, and the plant electrical output is 150 mw. The end customer is Tanesco, Tanzania Electric Supply Company. The plant will be located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Citec's project scope includes conceptual, basic and detailed design for all needed disciplines, including consulting services on the site. The design phase will last for about eight months, and the total project duration is about 12-14 months. On average, the project will include approximately 25- 30 experts from Citec during the design phase.
