Schneider Electric
recently launched
a solar inverter
substation (SISS) at a
renewable energy related
event. SISS is a
power conversion
system operating
between DC field and
AC MV grid
connections in PV Plant
installations. SISS is a
compact design,
qualified for harsh
environment present in Indian project
sites. This design maximizes the
inverter energy production efficiency
and reduces risk of downtime, a
statement by Schneider Electric said.
Schneider Electric is providing
energy efficient integrated solutions
to its customers
including the SISS,
array boxes,
monitoring & control,
and the grid connection
substations. The SISS
is a factory integrated,
tested & validated plug
& play power
generating system that
contains two Conext
Core XC inverters,
related DC combiner
box, a step-up
transformer, medium voltage
switchgear and other accessories.
This enables customers to reduce
construction lead time, lower
the costs of commissioning and
enhance uptime thanks to qualified
& reliable design.
