Schneider Electric recently
launched Acti9 Communication
system, an industry
first communication-capable final
distribution offering (MCBs, RCDs
& modular devices).
The system is equipped with fully
monitored applications as it can be
operated via Internet and LAN.
Acti9 also works on GSM and cloud.
The system could be applied in both
residential and commercial sector.
Kshitij Batra, Director - Final
Distribution and PCP, Power
Business, Schneider Electric said,
"The system will be manufactured
locally in Chennai facility as per the
global standards." He maintained
that the manufacturing facility in
Chennai is not just for the Indian
market but also for exports to other
regions in the world.
For operating the system there is no
training required because "everything
is user-friendly and requires only a
glance." He added, "To maintain the
system and to overcome any trouble
there are dedicated executives
available in major parts of country."
There is no requirement to have a
particularly trained person unless the
operations are large and it really
depends on what customization the
recipients want because in this case
requirements of the products are not
predetermined but customized.
