Microtek has been amongst India’s most respected UPS and inverter companies. Tell us about the core values that Microtek has always stood for.
Microtek has always stood for the masses and has been regularly designing and developing value-for-money range of user-friendly products, supported by pan India service network of more than 113 service centers and 355 service points. That has been the strength and formula for success.
We understand that Microtek has deployed the most advanced and sophisticated technology for manufacturing UPS and inverters. Tell us more about this.
As a leader in power products, Microtek has been innovating in technology with time. After launching regular series of backup ups and inverters, Microtek launched e2 energy efficient range with environment friendly technologies like ZPS-Zero Power Switching, DFLC- Digi Fuzzy Logic Charging etc. Subsequently Microtek also launched 24x7 gen-next technology based UPS/inverters with IBGM-Intelli battery gravity management technology which prolongs the life of the battery and charges the battery quickly.
Microtek has been largely dominant in north India. What is your view? Do you have plans to expand more in other parts of the country?
This is a wrong perception! Microtek is present pan India and is dominant all in all parts of the country.
India has a large number of unorganized-sector players in the low-rating home UPS segment. What is your view? Does this have any impact on the overall quality of UPS systems produced by the country?
The unorganized sector has been losing its grip as the price gap is not much between branded and unbranded sectors. As such India is a huge market where every segment seeks its share.
Experts feel that the biggest demand driver for UPS and inverters is deficient grid power, both in terms of power availability and power quality.
Well, the experts are right! Looking at the present scenario, it looks impossible even in the distant future to improve power availability and power quality. It is a fact that power demand rises even before the generation can increase. is increased. Also transmission losses cannot be avoided.
As far as critical power electronics is concerned, the Indian UPS and inverter industry is reliant on imports. What is your opinion?
Well, Microtek is the only company in India who products are 100 per cent manufactured in India while others are mostly imported from China.
What are your biggest demand drivers?
The biggest demand driver is of course the power situation and increasing power demand.

We have a constant roadmap of growth, which we have been following for last many years and the same will continue in near future. Our goal is to add new user-friendly value-for-money range of products, supported by unmatched all-India network of more than 113 service centers and 355 service points.
