KEC International has
won a
275-crore order
from Saudi Electricity
Company to build a 380kV
power transmission line from
Qurayyat Power Plant to
Future Tabarjal. The order is
secured from Saudi Electricity
Company. The order,
scheduled to complete over the
next two years, is part of a series
of orders that the Mumbai based
global EPC player
announced recently.
In the overseas market, KEC
also won a
149-crore order
from Kuwait's Ministry of
Electricity & Water for a 400kV
transmission line from Sabah
Al Ahmad Substation, to be
completed within 20 months.
In Ghana, KEC received a
mandate for a 330kV
transmission line from Volta
substation in Tema to Tornu
near Dzodze in the Ghana, near
Togo Border. The
75-crore
order, secured from Volta River
Authority, is slated for
completion in 20 months.
Back home, KEC
International secured turnkey
order for 33/11kV substations
and distribution lines from
Indore-based Madhya Pradesh
Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran
Company Ltd, under R-APDRP
Scheme. To be completed by
December next year, the order
is billed at
233 crore.
