Aggreko has put up a temporary power plant for Ras Al Khaimah Co. for White Cement, one of UAE's leading white cement company. According to a release issued by Aggreko, the cement company called Aggreko when one of its gas turbines failed and standby power had been shut down for annual maintenance, causing significant reduction in power capacity.

RAK Co. for White Cement produces a specially blended white cement dust that is in high demand all over the GCC. The cement company produces around 4.5 lakh tonnes of white cement annually. Within three days, Aggreko installed power generators worth 6 mw at 6.6kV for an initial two week period. This was extended to three weeks when the client required additional time.
