Hager Group, a provider of electrical distribution and building automation products, recently opened its sales office at Indiabulls Finance Centre, Mumbai.

India is identified as a strategic country by the group, with objectives to double its sales revenues and build up a strong industrial base, by 2015. Aligned to this, Hager has established a network of over 300 channel partners in India. Hager plans to open more offices in India by the end of 2013, a company statement said.

“The increasing number of our sales team pan India, along with several new ranges launched in the residential, commercial segments requires better sales offices to welcome and train our clients; our goal is to be a solution provider, addressing new segments and a larger clientele,” said Benoit Lecuyer, Managing Director, Hager India.

Hager's product/solution offerings in India include the low-voltage final distribution products like MCCBs, MCBs, RCDs, and distribution boards, control devices for lighting management, and home automation solution sold under the brand “Berker by Hager.”
