an innovative 'Myrius:
Antibacterial' range of wiring
devices. Legrand believes in
constant innovation which enables
the company to introduce path
breaking products in the industry,
an official statement said.
The new antibacterial range is
in line with the Myrius brand
promise of "More is on". The Legrand philosophy of
"Listen, Design, Make, Support" has helped design this
range for the customers, who have special requirements
and for industries that are hygiene conscious like
pharmacy, agro and food, laboratories, R&D centers and
the healthcare industries.
The product is useful for these industries because
switches and sockets are one of the most frequently
touched surfaces by a number of people and are one of
the common platforms for the spread of bacteria and
transfer of contagious diseases. Using a special
material, the Ag+ ions - the product destroys bacteria
coming in contact with the surface of the product,
eliminating the spread of bacteria through the wiring
accessories. Further, its sleek and flat design enables
easy cleaning thereby decreasing the possibility of
dust accumulation. This allows for ease of
