Sterlite Grid Ltd has successfully completed full-scale
type testing for its 765kV double circuit
Dharamjaygarh-Jabalpur transmission line project for
all the four types of towers.
Sterlite Grid, a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Sterlite Technologies Ltd,
had earlier completed tower testing for
its 765kV single circuit towers for it
Bhopal Dhule project. All tested tower
designs have been indigenously
developed by Sterlite Grid which holds
copyrights for the said designs.
Sterlite currently has a portfolio of three transmission
projects with a total value of about Rs.4,000 crore. These
transmission systems would evacuate and transmit power
through a network of about 2,200 km of transmission lines
and two substations; in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat,
Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar and
Assam.
