Tecpro Systems Ltd has received an order worth
Rs.146.6 crore from Damodar Valley Corporation for
supply of coal handling plant package for the 1x500-
mw BTPS ‘A’ (Bokaro Thermal Power Station), along with
related services. Tecpro Systems will undertake design,
engineering, manufacturing, shop fabrication, assembly,
testing, inspection, packing, installation services including
erection, civil and structural works for the complete coal
handling plant package for the power plant.
Tecpro also announced the winning of a Rs.139.80-crore
order from West Bengal Power Development Corporation
Ltd for supply of ash handling plant for the 2x500-mw
Sagardighi Thermal Power Extension Project (Phase-II,
Units 3 & 4). This turnkey order will also involve erection,
civil works and other related services.
In an independent development, Tecpro Systems also
reported that it won a $17.37-million order from South
Korea-based SK Engineering & Construction. The scope of
work involves supplying equipments for coal handling
system and ash handling system for Paco power plant
project in Panama. The scope also involves commissioning
and supplying startup spare parts. The project is expected
to be completed by the end of April 2014.
