EIF has launched its LCD Graphical
Touch Controller, the AGI 107,
with 7 inches real color touch
screen that can be connected to all types
of multi-line controllers from DEIF and
also to various makes of PLCs.
The AGI provides you with a full
graphical overview and touch screen
control that brings process information
in a live screen and allows users to
control process to be visualized. With
the DEIF Screen Designer software, one
can develop screen that suits the
applications of users, a product note
from DEIF said.
Compared to other contemporary
Touch Screen Graphic HMIs,
the DEIF AGI has many advanced
features that helps build screens with
ease, for even complex application, with
exemplary performance.
The AGI 107 also offers a host of other
features:
Communication drivers: AGI can
communicate with all the known
PLCs, with inbuilt drivers. It
communicates with all DEIF products
that support Modbus communication.
One big advantage of using AGI for the
customer is, used with DEIF controller;
all inbuilt tags are readily available.
One just needs to select them from the
TAG list and save the precious hours of
time spent of creating it.
Graphic support: AGI comes with
full vector graphic support with true
type fonts. The high quality graphic
screen ensures clarity of the fonts even
when zoomed and provides crystal clear
images and fonts.
Multiple formats: The product
displays data in multiple formats. The
software gives users flexibility to
display the real time data in numerical,
text, bar-graph, slider, gauge and graphic
image type formats. Besides, images in
*.jpeg and *.gif file format are supported
by the HMI.
Script languages: Users can also
write software logic program,
represented in a very simple language.
This program is used to perform internal
calculations using HMI internal
memory. The same program can be used
to write or force a relay in a controller.
The commands can be triggered by
touch screens or window pop-ups.
Communication port: AGI is
equipped with different style of Com
Ports. It supports RS-232, RS-422 and
RS-485 type of connections.
Other features include multiple
objects properties with dynamic
control; pop-up screens and windows;
tracing of data using a "Trending"
feature and transfer of trending data to a
host computer; display of current and
historical alarm logs; multiple levels of
password protection.
