
Areva T&D India has won a

120-crore contract from L&T
Power for equipment supplies to a
project being developed by Visa
Power Ltd, an IPP. The contract
involves supply and installation of
balance of plant equipment for the
under-construction 2x600-mw Raipur thermal power
project in Chhattisgarh.
As part of the contract, Areva T&D will supply and install
a 400kV air insulated substation, along with civil works
along with power plant distribution systems comprising
medium voltage switchgear, service and distribution
transformers, low-voltage switchboards, cables and bus
ducts, a statement from Areva T&D India said.
